The University of Virginia Rotunda 3D Data

this is the 3d dataset for The University of Virginia Rotunda, central building and former library of Thomas Jefferson's Academical Village, ca. 1822-26; the main dataset for the building was collected from 2016-2021; data was collected using FARO Focus 3D laser scanners, models S120, X130, S70 and S150; data was registered and processed with FARO Scene v. 2024; data edited, optimized and exported with Autodesk ReCap v. 2024; the building exterior data was collected by students in ARH5500, Fall 2019; most of the interior data was collected by Will Rourk in July 2020; interior spaces of the porticoes and spiral stairways were scanned by students of ARH5600, Fall 2021;
