Dust density data for model of interstellar dust penetrating into the heliosphere

Data files related to the article "Interstellar Dust Transport Through the Heliosphere Including the Sector Region" by Slavin et al. (2026) submitted to the Astrophysical Journal. FITS files contain raw dust density counts in the heliosphere and upwind interstellar medium for different polarities of the solar wind magnetic field and different phases of the solar cycle (which determines the nature of the sector region). Also included are HDF5 files that contain the heliosphere model data and a python routine for plotting slices of the data (ddens_plot.py). This routine converts the raw counts into density relative to the undisturbed interstellar density. An additional python routine (interp_helsphmod.py) that is used in interpolating the model data in ddens_plot.py is also included. Use of the python routines requires several python packages that are standard for astronomical python programming (e.g. astropy, numpy, scipy).
