This study focuses on Pasolini's scholastic activity through the examples of some teaching proposals referring to the period of Versuta, Valvasone and Ciampino (1944-1955). The aim is to demonstrate that Pasolini was also a heretic in his teaching experiments, declaring himself in favor of an unconventional school and therefore alternative to traditional pedagogical methods. It follows that the 'contradictory' nature of the writer is reflected in his educational vocation, which does not remain limited to the school context but concern the entire Italian society, becoming an example of "mass pedagogy". The idea of a school to be reformed by linking it to life is the main legacy of Pasolini as an educator, which should be valorised by current school policies.
