The research group screened and isolated a strain with excellent CH4 oxidation performance, but there were few reports on methane oxidation by this strain, and its methane oxidation and metabolism pathway was not clear. In this study, the whole genome analysis technology was used to analyze the CH4 oxidation function gene and CH4 oxidation metabolic pathway of JW535. The research results can further improve the resource pool of methane-oxidizing bacteria and provide theoretical basis for the application of this strain in the field of greenhouse gas emission reduction.
