Concerns about chickens welfare in Europe 2019

A survey conducted in seven European countries in 2019 revealed that welfare measures in chicken farming were considered important by EU individuals. In fact, 65 percent of the respondents thought that a suitable environment with access to natural light and enough space was a very important condition. Additionally, a clean environment and unpolluted air was perceived as very important for 68 percent and important for 21 percent of respondents.
