From 2006 to 2010 survey data was collected to develop an empirical model (such as Random Utility Models (RUMs)) to explain choice of recreational sites and use as a basis for economic welfare and policy evaluation. This project is part of Ningaloo Cluster project 4 and has three sub-projects - 1) Understand destination choice for users of the NMP 2) Estimate economic values associated with recreational fishing in the NMP 3) Estimate economic values associated with other recreational activities in the NMP.
