The Travel Monitoring Analysis System (TMAS) - Class dataset was updated on December 31, 2025 and was created on March 23, 2026 by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The TMAS Continuous Vehicle Classification (CVC) data represents both the FHWA 13 vehicle types and length-based class as defined by the 2001 Traffic Monitoring Guide (TMG).
