Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Epic Campus, Ashton Vale, North Somerset, February 2024

This collection consists of images, spreadsheets and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation by Cotswold Archaeology. Work occurred at Epic Campus, Ashton Vale, North Somerset, in February 2024. A small number of ditches, some containing artefactual material of a late 18th to 19th-century date, others artefactually undated, were identified in the south-western parts of the site. The ploughed out remains of agricultural furrows, most probably also of a post-medieval date, were identified in trenches excavated in the southwestern parts of the site. A single pit, containing hammerscale and fuel-waste charcoal, was identified in a trench excavated in the south-western part of the site.
