Replication Data for: Designing Carbon Pricing Policies Across the Globe

This document provides a guide for replicating results reported in “Designing Carbon Pricing Policies Across the Globe” using the programs Stata and R. Two main files run all of the code to generate the data for all in-text statistical tests, the figures as well as the tables in the paper. The replicator should expect the code to run for less than half an hour. All publicly shareable files have been deposited in this folder. The codes construct the analysis file from several data sources (Drupp et al., 2024, Dolphin, 2022b; Elsevier, 2019; Nesje et al., 2025; Pelham, 2009; World Bank, 2022a, 2022b, 2022c, 2022d).
