Crossdressers in the theatre of Lope de Vega and Calderón: Database for a comparative study

The databases were compiled from various sources. On the one hand, the Rolecall database by David J. Amelang (https://rolecall.eu/) was used, on the other hand information from the website https://calderondigital.tespasiglodeoro.it/ organized by Fausta A. Antonucci. The quantitative determinations of the proportion of utterances emitted by cross-dresser figures which not available in Rolecall were supplemented by our own calculations, which were carried out in the DFG-funded research project on "Tracing Regularities in Pedro Calderón de la Barca's Dramatic OEuvre with a Computational Approach" (https://gepris.dfg.de/gepris/projekt/508056339?language=en)
