Transcriptome analysis revealed the effects of cadmium on the gastrointestinal tract in cattle

In this study, we investigate the effects of dietary cadmium exposure on gastrointestinal tract in cattle.This study aimed to (i) explore whether the dietary cadmium exposure alter the cattle gene expressions in gastrointestinal tract, and (ii) investigate the health risks associated with changes of gene expressions in cattle. Analyzing these alterations of genes expression provide new insights to biological effects of cadmium on cattle and potential health risks caused by cadmium in ruminants.
