This dataset is generated via calculations based on observational data from 740 national meteorological stations covering the period 1971–2000. It is developed with support from GIS, computer and spatial database technologies, and built upon research on meteorological data spatialization methods. The dataset contains rasterized spatial distribution data of multi-year averaged first occurrence dates of daily mean temperature ≥0℃, 5℃, 10℃ and 15℃ across China's terrestrial land area. The spatial resolution of the raster grids is 1 km × 1 km; the spatial reference system is GSC_CLARK_1866; and the data unit is day.
