Transcriptome of Cattail with Ginseng

The primary objective of this study is to characterize the transcriptional profiles of 6 samples, focusing on identifying differentially expressed genes between the CK and PSK groups. It aims to quantify gene expression levels, detect genetic variations and alternative splicing events, and unravel key functional pathways and regulatory mechanisms potentially linked to phenotypic differences between groups. Additionally, the study seeks to predict novel transcripts and transcription factors to expand understanding of the sample's transcriptomic landscape. This research aligns with mainstream eukaryotic transcriptomic studies, utilizing standard tools consistent with prior functional genomics work. It builds on existing research in variation detection and protein interaction prediction, while its focus on transcriptional regulation complements studies exploring gene expression dynamics, providing a foundation for follow-up functional validation of key genes or pathways.
