Supporting data for the description of Aegirarchaeum gulielmi gen. nov., sp. nov., an uncultivated Asgard archaeon from Baltic Sea sediment

Supporting data for a forthcoming description of Aegirarchaeum gulielmi gen. nov., sp. nov., an uncultivated Asgard archaeon (family Ca. Thorarchaeaceae) from Baltic Sea sediment, described from a metagenome-assembled genome under the SeqCode. The deposit holds the type genome and predicted proteins, concatenated alignments, the phylogenetic analyses with their logs and model parameters, genome-quality and pairwise identity estimates, functional annotation, read-level validation, reference-database screens, and the scripts that produce every figure and table. Files are embargoed until 2026-09-27, to match the ENA release date for the type genome. Source accessions, assembly statistics, methods and results are given in the associated publication. The type genome was released from hold on 30 July 2026 and is available under assembly accession GCA_987191185.1 (ENA study PRJEB122875, sample ERS30907587, contigs CFWXAL010000001 to CFWXAL010000010).
