Jama et al. (2026) – Mangrove Degradation and Livelihood Constraints in Fragile Coastal Systems: Data Package from Puntland, Somalia

This dataset package supports the manuscript “Livelihood Constraints and Mangrove Degradation in Fragile Coastal Systems: A Mixed-Methods Analysis from Puntland, Somalia”. It contains four folders: 01_Documentation: Participant Information Sheet, Ethical Approval Form, and README metadata. 02_Underlying_Data: Respondent-level datasets (n = 27), raw qualitative transcripts, livelihood pathways data, and variable codebook. 03_Extended_Data: Coding justification matrix, structured interview guide, and bilingual Somali-English KII guide. 04_Analysis_Scripts: PCA outputs and SPSS syntax for reproducibility of statistical analysis. The package provides anonymized qualitative and quantitative data, coding frameworks, and analysis scripts to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and compliance with Open Research Africa (F1000) data availability standards.
