Multi-sector data set

This research explores the role of neighborhood green spaces (NGS) in promoting child well-being in the rapidly urbanizing metro cities of Central India. It adopts a multisectoral perspective by incorporating insights from professionals across architecture, urban planning, public health, education, NGOs, and policymaking. The study identifies key features of NGS that enhance children's physical and mental health while addressing barriers such as land scarcity, insufficient public interest, and inadequate funding. Using a cross-sectional survey design and statistical analysis, the research emphasizes the importance of sector-specific strategies and collaborative approaches to optimize green spaces for sustainable urban development and social equity.
