We exposed E.coli (ATCC25922 strain) to quetiapine (an atypical antipsychotic) for 43 days in vitro (10 or 100 mg/L doses) and isolated strains that had developed antimicrobial resistance (AMR). We conducted whole-genome Illumina sequencing to identify mutations in the genome that may explain their AMR phenotype.
