Regulation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa virulence

We studied the transcriptomic changes leading to restoring virulence of an initially avirulent strain of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Along with the hypervirulent phenotype, changes caused by a single mutation led to aminoglycoside and colistin resistance. These RNAseq data explore the mechanisms driving the development of virulence and antimicrobial resistance.
