资源简介:
Objective To explore the protective effects of different protective methods on the non-examination parts of patients during CT examinations, and to select the most effective protective method. Methods The routine chest spiral scanning method for normal adults was adopted. The American ART human body model and thermoluminescent personal dosimeters were applied to detect the radiation doses of the non-examination parts under the conditions of non- protection, shielding protection, and wrapping protection respectively. Results The results of body surface dose detection show that compared with the non-protective group, both the shielding protection and wrapping protection showed statistically significant differences (Z = -2.323、-2.337、 -2.178、 -2.232、 -2.460、 -2.337, P < 0.05) for the eye surface, upper and lower abdomen. The results of internal organ dose detection show that compared with the non-protected group, the protective effects of the shielding protection method on the brain (frontal、parietal lobes、internal capsule), cervical esophagus, kidneys, bladder, and other parts showed statistically significant differences(Z=-2.397、-2.397、-2.309、-2.021、-2.397,P<0.05);Compared with the non-protected group, the protective effects of the wrapping protection method on the colon, small intestine, and lumbar spine showed statistically significant differences (Z=-2.178、-2.323、-2.323, P<0.05);For the small intestine and lumbar spine, the protective effect of the wrapping protection method is significantly higher than that of the shielding protection method (Z=-2.323、-2.337, P<0.05). However, for the brain (frontal、parietal lobes、internal capsule),the detection values of the wrapping protection method are higher than those without protection, and significantly higher than those of the shielding protection method (Z=-2.381、-2.381, P<0.05);Conclusion during CT examinations, the correct selection of shielding or wrapping protective method by staff for non examination areas of patients can significantly reduce the radiation dose of non examination areas.
