Whole genome population structure of North Atlantic kelp confirms high-latitude glacial refugia

Presented here are files related the genome assembly of the kelp <em>Alaria esculenta</em> using long and short read data, and population genomic analysis of North Atlantic populations. The specific files are: <br> <em><strong>Alaria esculenta</strong></em><strong> draft genome:</strong> alaria_v3.fasta: Final assembly contigs<br> alaria_v3.gff3: Final assembly annotations <br> Alaria_esculenta_V1_repetitive_regions.out (note, contains annotations for sequences in our initial draft genome, from which we have sinced removed putative non-target sequences)<br> <strong>Population genomic analyses:</strong> A_esculenta_coverage_exon-gene_annotations_30vi22.xlsx: presents exon coverage values for each population. Note, coverage is standardized within each sample for expected coverage of single copy orthologues; 0=missing, 1=expected coverage, &gt;1=greater coverage relative to single copy orthologues (where 2=2x, 3=3x, ect).
