Idealized influence, adaptive performance and self-determination

Although extant literature has discussed the importance of leadership in influencing employees, limited studies have explored the effect of aspects of leadership on employees’ self-determination from the perspective of employee adaptability. Our study investigates the effect of leader’s idealized influence on employee’s self-determination, and the mediating role of employee’s adaptive performance.
