This archive includes land use and climatic feature resistance maps for mainland Portugal at 100m resolution. The different maps result from using multiple parameterizations for resistance scores in land use types (3 settings) and climate-surrogate features (3 settings), and after running Omniscape (for landscape level connectivity modelling) using several moving window sizes (as a proxy of species dispersal capacity) (3 settings): climate_resistance_cumulative_0501….tif – climate resistance layer obtained after running Omniscape using option 1 for assigning resistance values to climate-surrogate features. climate_resistance_cumulative_0335067….tif – climate resistance layer obtained after running Omniscape using option 2 for assigning resistance values to climate-surrogate features. climate_resistance_cumulative_03350671….tif – climate resistance layer obtained after running Omniscape using option 3 for assigning resistance values to climate-surrogate features. landuse_resistance_cumulative_1010….tif – land use resistance layer obtained after running Omniscape using option 1 for assigning resistance values land use features. landuse_resistance_cumulative_10100….tif - land use resistance layer obtained after running Omniscape using option 3 for assigning resistance values land use features. landuse_resistance_cumulative_250750….tif - land use resistance layer obtained after running Omniscape using option 3 for assigning resistance values land use features. …_mw05 – resistance layers using Omniscape with a moving window size of 5km. …_mw20 – resistance layers using Omniscape with a moving window size of 20km. …_mw50 – resistance layers using Omniscape with a moving window size of 50km. The archive also includes a raster (100m resolution) delimiting terrestrial protected areas in mainland Portugal (as defined in the main article): areaclassif.tif. For convenience, an R code script (script_Mtlk.R) is made available to support the conversion of resistance and protected area data into a file formatted to be run in MulTyLink software for the identification of minimally disturbed climate-resilient linkages across protected-areas.
