Fatal enhanced respiratory syncytial virus disease in toddlers

This study perfromed RNAseq on two FFPE lung samples from deceased participants from the 1867 RSV vaccine trial and compared these data to age and race matched controls from LungMAP. Overall design: RNA was extratced from FFPE slides using Illumina RNA Access. Indexed, pooled libraries were then sequenced on the Illumina NextSeq 550 platform with high-output flow cell–producing stranded, single end reads (1× 75 bp). Comparisons were perfromed in R.
