In the light of the increasing difficulties experienced by teachers as regards getting employment in their traditional field (the municipal primary school) this survey was carried out in order to examine alternative job possibilities exploited by teachers. Among other things, the purpose is to map out possible changes of the basic education and in-service training of teachers. # Every second of the graduate classes since 1973 (6 classes) from the 7 teacher training colleges in Southern Jutland were chosen as the survey population
