Database used in the paper "European plant translocations involve functionally distinct species". It includes a matrix with presence and absence data for angiosperm species across 4 European countries (Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland). Information about the species status is provided, namely, whether the species is native (extant or extinct), and if it has been translocated. Additionally, it provides values for seven functional traits, three categorical (habit, growth form, and life cycle) and four continuous (plant height, leaf area, leaf mass per area, and diaspore mass).
