资源简介:
Recent researches revealed that human gut microbiota is involved in host health and disease development. The lifestyle-related diseases such as type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2D), hyperlipidemia (HL), and hypertension (HT) may alter the composition of gut microbiota. However, the structure of gut microbiota among these diseases has not been fully investigated. Here, we investigated gut microbiota differences related to T2D, HL, HT, and the coexistence of these diseases in Japanese subjects. Two-hundred thirty-nine Japanese subjects including healthy control (HC) were enrolled. Fecal samples were obtained to analyze the gut microbiome. Bacterial genomic DNA was isolated and the fecal microbiota was analyzed using the Illumina MiSeq Sequencing System based on the V3-V4 hypervariable regions of the 16S rRNA gene.
