Upon excitation at 296(a), as well as the refolding transition from 6.0 to 0.9 (b) and 2.7 (c) M urea. The dashed lines indicate the urea dependent baseline signal of the folded (a) and unfolded (b, c) states determined from chevron analysis (see Fig. 4). All unfolding data can be fitted to a single exponential function with urea-dependent rate constant λU2(US) between 0.1 s−1 and 0.001. The refolding traces can be fitted to two exponentials ranging from 1 to 10 s−1 (λF1(RS)) and 0.01 to 0.0002 s−1 (λF3(RS)). Additionally, a burst phase can be observed in the refolding traces.
