This dataset contains spatial distribution data of land use types in Xiajin County, Dezhou City, Shandong Province, China, in 2016. The data is in vector format, with attribute fields including land code and land type. Land types are classified into secondary categories as follows: paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glaciers and snowfields, tidal flats, bottom lands, urban land, rural residential areas, other construction land, sandy land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Specifically, cultivated land is subdivided into paddy fields and dry lands based on four landform types: mountainous region, hilly region, plain region, and areas with slopes exceeding 25 degrees. The data scale is 1:100,000.
