资源简介:
The hydrogen isotope ratio of leaf waxes is an increasingly utilized paleoclimate proxy used to reconstruct past hydroclimate variations. Continued calibration work on this proxy is needed, particularly in the Arctic. One calibration approach is to compare spatial patterns in hydrogen isotope (D/H) ratios of precipitation with those of leaf waxes found in lake surface sediment. This dataset includes biomarker data from lake surface sediments collected from the Circumarctic Lakes Observation Network (CALON) and Toolik Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) station study lakes between 2011 and 2015. Specifically, the dataset contains leaf wax (n-alkane and n-acid) distribution information and hydrogen isotope ratios from 9 lakes located on the North Slope of Alaska.
