This table displays organisms grouped by their class and phylum, with one representative organism per genus. Organisms were organized according to their respective phylogenetic classes across 16 prokaryotic phyla. The “Class” column categorizes each organism based on its phylogenetic classification. Only classes containing at least four organisms encoding the rpoN gene were included, refining the dataset to a more focused and relevant group. The final dataset comprises 1,414 organisms, offering a comprehensive and representative sample of prokaryotic diversity. Additionally, model organisms such as Escherichia coli (eco) and Bacillus subtilis (bsu) were included as reference points for comparative analysis. Each organism is identified by a three-letter code derived from the KEGG GENOME Database.
