Y-chromosome sequences from several ethnolinguistic groups of Northwestern Amazonia. NRY sequencing data from northwestern Amazonia

In this study we have sequenced a region of ~2.3 Mb of the non-recombining region of the Y-chromosome (NRY) from 284 Native American individuals representing more than 30 different ethnicities. Double-indexed DNA libraries were enriched via in-solution capture and paired-end sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. Sequences were aligned against hg19_1000g using BWA (v0.5.10) aligning algorithm using default parameters. This release contains the subset of the reads that aligned to the 2.3 Mb region of the NRY targeted by the capture-enrichment.
