The investigation integrates both qualitative and quantitative data to provide a comprehensive analysis of teaching competencies in Technology and Informatics education. Qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews and open-ended questionnaire items, offering in-depth insights into trainee teachers’ reflective practices, pedagogical strategies, and interdisciplinary approaches. Quantitative data were obtained from specific tests and closed-ended questionnaire items, enabling statistical analysis of participants’ performance in areas such as critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and ICT skills. Data analysis was rigorously conducted using specialized software, including ATLAS.ti for thematic qualitative coding, SPSS for descriptive and inferential statistical analyses, and HUDAP for advanced data correlation techniques. This mixed-methods approach ensures a robust understanding of the impact of the Didactic Unit on enhancing competencies, fostering methodological reliability, and providing a replicable framework for teacher training programs.
