Laboratory images of rising weak bubble chains in stagnant and crossflow conditions

This dataset contains three sets of high-speed image data obtained in the laboratory at Texas A&M University Civil Engineering Lab 109, using a single high-speed camera. They are free rise of in-chain bubbles in still water, under tow-mode, and with crossflow condition. This laboratory experiment is funded by GISR. In-chain bubbles are a sequence of air bubbles released from a submersed nozzle in the water tank. The bubbles were released at different frequencies (and therefore, different flowrates), forming a chain-like structure from the tip of the nozzle to the water surface.
