Dataset from project- Block neutral models to predict the response of Biodiversity in tree-related microhabitats to Forest Management

Management modulates the spatiotemporal availability of habitats for species at forest scale. Tree-related microhabitats (TreMs) are highly impacted, and in particular old-growth attributes of trees. Because TreMs harbor a specific saproxylic biodiversity with strong patrimonial interest, the modulation of TreMs spatiotemporal availability induced by management exerts a major constraint on associated biodiversity at forest scale. This dataset describes the location and characteristics of rot-holes in the Grésigne forest (SW, France) and their associated biodiversity characterised by means of eDNA metabarcoding of the regions COI (Arthopoda) and ITS1 (Fungi).
