中国1：400万土壤粗砂含量分布图（1980s)是土壤物理属性空间分布图之一。是表达土壤物理属性在空间上分布规律及其数量特征的一种专题地图，是在农林牧副业生产以及环境保护上具有重要意义的农业工程图件。
此数据集是在中国科学院南京土壤研究所建立的“中国1：100万土壤数据库”的基础上，通过对土壤物理属性类型划分，利用GIS空间数据融合技术，综合生成了6类型属性分布图,分别是：土壤粗砂含量分布图、土壤细砂含量分布图、土壤粉砂含量分布图、土壤粘粒含量分布图、土壤田间持水量分布图、土壤凋萎系数分布图。

The 1:4,000,000 spatial distribution map of coarse sand content in Chinese soils (1980s) is one type of spatial distribution map for soil physical properties. As a thematic map that depicts the spatial distribution patterns and quantitative characteristics of soil physical properties, it is an important agricultural engineering drawing with great significance for agricultural, forestry, animal husbandry, sideline production and environmental protection.

This dataset was constructed based on the "1:1,000,000 Soil Database of China" established by the Nanjing Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Through classifying soil physical property types and applying GIS spatial data fusion technology, six comprehensive attribute distribution maps were generated, including: the spatial distribution map of soil coarse sand content, the spatial distribution map of soil fine sand content, the spatial distribution map of soil silt content, the spatial distribution map of soil clay content, the spatial distribution map of soil field capacity, and the spatial distribution map of soil wilting coefficient.
