Candidate survey, 2003

This report is a review of the survey "About studies and work in the Bergen region." The survey was commissioned from the University of Bergen, HiB and SiB. The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding about the job market for graduates in the Bergen area after graduation. The present study includes recent graduates from the University of Bergen (UiB) and Bergen University College (HiB) and gives an overall picture of the labor market situation for these. The graduates represent graduate and professional studies from the University of Bergen, HiB by professional studies, as well as candidates with undergraduate degree from the Faculty of Social Sciences (SV) and the Faculty of Arts (HF) at UiB. The majority of the candidates have studied full time. Candidates at UiB are more dissatisfied with the educational institution adaptations for the transition to the labor market. Most people with university education state that there is interest in the subjects that have been most important in the choice of study. For those who have taken professional education is the desire to make interesting work that has been most important. Three out of five would choose the same education if they had to choose today.本报告系对《卑尔根地区学业与就业调研》的综述分析。本次调研由卑尔根大学（University of Bergen）、HiB及SiB委托开展。本研究旨在深化对卑尔根地区毕业生毕业后就业市场现状的认知。本次研究涵盖了卑尔根大学（UiB）与卑尔根大学学院（HiB）的近期毕业生，并全面呈现了该群体的劳动力市场境况。受访毕业生涵盖卑尔根大学的研究生与职业教育项目毕业生、卑尔根大学学院的职业教育项目毕业生，以及卑尔根大学社会科学学院（SV）与人文学院（HF）的本科毕业生。绝大多数受访毕业生均为全日制修读完成学业。卑尔根大学（UiB）的受访毕业生对院校为助力其顺利过渡至劳动力市场所提供的适配服务满意度更低。多数高等教育背景的受访者表示，他们对当初选择专业时最为看重的学科仍保有兴趣；而接受职业教育的受访者则认为，获得一份富有趣味性的工作是其选择专业时最核心的考量因素。每五名受访者中便有三人表示，若今日重新做出选择，他们仍会就读当初的同一教育项目。
