Research data supporting "Designing and prototyping of a reconfigurable segmented fan concrete shell as a flooring system"

This data set contains test data for 3 segmented fan concrete shells (MN1, MN1M, and MN2M) loaded under asymmetrical point loads. Load-displacement data are provided as CSV files for each of the test specimens. This data was obtained from the data acquisition system which was connected to the hydraulic jack for the loading data and the LED tracker camera system for the loading plate displacement. Output from linearly varying displacement transducers (LVDTs) and strain gauges applied to the steel ties for test specimen MN2M is included in the dataset as a CSV file. The LVDTs were placed at mid span of each edge to track the vertical displacement of the shell edges. The strain gauges were used to track the strain in the ties which resolved the horizontal thrusts of the shell.
