Pseudomonas bacteriophage genome assemblies from Illumina and Nanopore sequencing
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains bacteriophage genome assemblies generated for the study “Long-read and short-read whole genome sequencing are equivalent for genomic characterisation of bacteriophage: considerations for high-throughput analysis”. The dataset includes 40 short-read, long-read and polished genome assemblies generated from Illumina and Oxford Nanopore sequencing. These assemblies were used to compare genome completeness and assembly-level differences between sequencing and assembly strategies for bacteriophage genomic characterisation. Genome assemblies are provided in FASTA format and are organised by bacteriophage isolate ID and assembly type, where applicable: Illumina-only assemblies Nanopore-only assemblies Polished assemblies (Nanopore assemblies polished with Illumina reads) Further genome statistics and taxonomy information for the genomes can be found within the manuscript.
