Genome skimming of Victoria spp

A study on species delimitation in genus Victoria revealed the presence of a putative new species, based on morphological characters and geographical distribution. Molecular data generated here, by genome skimming of individuals of three morphotypes (two recognised species and one putative new species) was produced to interrogate nuclear and plastid genomes for evidence that would corroborate existing data supporting the delimitation of a new species.
