Studies of microbial composition and community dynamics on red deer

The studies on microbial communities of wild red deer(Cervus elaphus xanthopygus )living in north China are less well-known, this study will provides insights of understanding the relationship between intestinal microbiota and hosts. And we analyzed the intestinal microbial dynamics of red deer under multiple factors, including sampling periods, deer sex, genetic relativeness, and spatial locations. We believe that it is important for revealing the adaptive evolution between wildlife species and intestinal microbiota.
