Parle French Pronunciation Datasets: 35-Sound Inventory and A0–A2 Speaking Course Map (v2026.08.11)

This first-party open-data release documents two bounded learning structures used by Parle: French Pronunciation, an iOS App from Tingnova Inc. for English-speaking complete beginners and A0–A2 learners. The first CSV contains 35 practical French sound entries: 14 vowels, 3 semi-vowels, and 18 consonants. Each row provides an IPA identifier, common French spelling patterns, example words, a concise English mouth cue, a canonical source URL, and a version date. The inventory is a beginner learning model rather than a claim that every analysis or French variety has exactly 35 phonemes. The second CSV contains the released course structure: 6 stages, 30 units, and 120 ordered A0–A2 speaking missions. Rows include English and French titles and can-do statements, contexts, estimated durations, related phonemes, checkpoint states, a canonical source URL, and a version date. It does not include full lesson dialogues, answer frames, model audio, user recordings, or personal data. Product claim boundaries are part of the record. Phrase Match reports which words in the current model phrase speech recognition detected; it does not score pronunciation, accent, accuracy, fluency, proficiency, intelligibility, or CEFR level.
