Simulation dataset for "Drag and lift forces on a particle in different configurations with respect to a floating carpet"

This dataset contains results of numerical simulations for studying hydrodynamic forces acting on the particles. Detailed description of cases is presented in the attached README file. This study aims to understand and quantify drag and lift forces acting on the particles located in different locations with respect to the carpet in the computational domain. For this study, we used Direct Numerical Simulation technique with volume penalisation method (CaNS-VPM code).

本数据集包含用于研究颗粒所受流体力的数值模拟结果。相关算例的详细说明详见附件README文件。本研究旨在理解并量化计算域内相对于该地毯处于不同位置的颗粒所受阻力与升力。本次研究采用了结合体积惩罚法（volume penalisation method）的直接数值模拟（Direct Numerical Simulation）技术，所用代码为CaNS-VPM。
