The data collected here refers to >2,500 hours per year for RLM (Registered power measurement) customers on the low-voltage grid, including VAT (19%).The average energy price here is 3.1 cents/kWh.The average capacity price is 183.7€/kW/year.
A high energy price correlates weakly (-0.22) with a low capacity price (inversely proportional).
However, this average is distorted for Germany as a whole, as the grid areas and number of customers vary.
The data was collected in March 2026 for 630 distribution grid operators.
