The data is the transcriptome expression of <em>Bombus waltoni </em>from different altitudes. The extracted mRNA was used for synthesis of cDNA by reverse transcription and random hexamers after dealing with fragmentation buffer. Then the ends of the cDNA were repaired by End Repair Mix, a single “A” base was added to the ends. The cDNA was sequenced on the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform after PCR amplification. The raw data was gained from the Illumina platform by CASAVA .
