Additional file 7: Table S6. of Transcriptome analysis of the painted lady butterfly, Vanessa cardui during wing color pattern development

Comparison of butterfly transcriptomes reveals 28 contigs common to Vanessa cardui, Junonia coenia, Danaus plexippus and Heliconius melpomene which received no significant hits to NCBI (1E-3). Contigs highlighted in grey are differentially expressed in V. cardui across the developmental stages, shown in red (up-regulated) or green (down-regulated). Blast results for all comparisons to V. cardui including Bicyclus anynana brain transcriptome and Bombyx mori are also presented. (XLSX 4847Â kb)
