MCP Defence-Placement Taxonomy (DPT) — Empirical Coverage Dataset and Scanner

Dataset and open-source scanner tool accompanying the IEEE paper: 'A Defence-Placement Taxonomy for Model Context Protocol Security: Mapping Threats Across the Agentic AI Lifecycle'. Contains: (1) all_servers_results.json — full per-repository coverage analysis for 35 open-source MCP repositories across five DPT lifecycle phases; (2) table3_coverage.csv — aggregated phase coverage statistics used in Table III; (3) per_server_scores.csv — per-repository breakdown; (4) mcp_dpt_scanner.zip — the open-source Python scanner used to generate the data.
