We developed a target capture sequencing SNP genotyping platform (oat 50K SNP array), and used 440 samples to evaluate the capture quality of this chip. In addition, an association panel consisting of 186 oat accessions was used for a GWAS of genetic loci associated with root and seedling biomass traits following 2 and 0.2 mM NH4NO3 treatments.
