. Needs Analysis Questionnaire Design A common questionnaire for the needs analysis was developed by drawing on prior knowledge, existing experiences, and programs. The questionnaire focused on the competences required of trainers across agriculture, animal husbandry, and conservation in Seychelles (see Appendix A[M1] ). The questionnaire employed three formats: (1) a multiple-choice grid in Likert scale, where respondents select from the options ‘strongly agree,’ ‘agree,’ ‘neither agree nor disagree,’ ‘disagree,’ or ‘strongly disagree’ for each statement in a grid layout, (2) single-answer questions, where respondents choose one option from a list of choices, and (3) a qualitative set of questions for respondents to suggest additional topics or issues not covered in one or two. Participants were also asked to self-assess their personal skills related to information, communication, and technology (ICT) use, internet proficiency, social networking, and organizational knowledge. This approach yielded valuable qualitative data, which was integrated with quantitative findings to enhance the accuracy of the results. The final version of the questionnaire was later designed in Google Forms to facilitate administration across the various mailing lists and networks. The completion time for a questionnaire ranges from 15 to 30 min. Using Google Forms to administer the questionnaires enabled outreach to diverse stakeholder groups.
