A LINGUOCULTURAL STUDY OF THE MOTHER FIGURE IN JOHN ERNEST STEINBECK'S LITERARY WORKS

The thesis investigates the conceptualization of motherhood in the literary works of John Ernest Steinbeck from a linguocultural perspective. The study argues that Steinbeck’s maternal characters extend beyond biological and domestic functions, embodying moral stability, cultural memory, and social responsibility.
