资源简介:
The project contains the survey instruments used to collect and analyze household adaptations and unhappiness due to infrastructure service interruptions in different regions following various disaster events. These surveys collected data on household demographics, service usage patterns, risk perceptions, and both revealed and stated preferences for adapting to disaster-induced electric power outages and water supply interruptions. The survey implemented in Los Angeles County aimed to capture general household experiences rather than responses to a specific disaster event. In contrast, the Texas survey was administered in the aftermath of the 2021 Texas winter storm. Data collection in New York and North Carolina focused specifically on household responses to the December 2022 North American winter storm. This survey involved collecting household responses to power outages only, unlike the surveys in Los Angeles and Texas, which were aimed at collecting responses to power outages and water supply interruptions.
